Silicone sealant

Silicone sealant is a one-component, room temperature vulcanizable, non-corrosive silicone adhesive sealant. It utilizes moisture from the air to vulcanize to form an elastic silicone gel. Excellent non-corrosive bonding for metals including copper, plastics, ceramics, glass, etc., without the use of a primer.
Instructions
1. Remove the oil stain on the joint surface by using cotton wool or gasoline-impregnated cotton, and dry it at 15 °C ~ 30 °C for 15 ~ 30 minutes.
2. Depending on the size of the joint surface and the gap size, it should be uniformly extruded. It is advisable to slightly extrude a rubber ring after the combination of the bonding surface, and the coating amount should not be too much, so as not to stain other surfaces or block the oil path. When used for threaded joint sealing, the liquid seal should be applied along the thread of the bolt or bolt, and the thread inside the hole can be coated with a brush.
3. After the liquid sealing gasket is coated on the joint surface, it can be quickly combined and fastened, and the time interval from the rubberizing to the combination should be controlled within 0.5h.
4. After the combined parts are vulcanized at 23±2°C for 12h, the next step can be entered. The component withstand voltage test shall be carried out after vulcanization for 24 h.
5. After vulcanization, the liquid gasket remaining on the bonding surface can be cut off with a sharp knife to the film outside the bonding surface, but it is not allowed to be forcibly torn by hand. It can also be wiped off with cotton yarn stained with gasoline.
6. When disassembling, you can use the raft to tap the joint surface along the side. After loosening, the glue on the joint surface can be scraped off with a copper scraper. It can also be wiped off with cotton yarn stained with gasoline. [2]
Note editing
1. Keep away from children.
2, electronic and electrical bonding sealing silicone rubber will release small molecules during the curing process, has a slight irritating effect on the skin and eyes, it is recommended to use in a well ventilated place.
3. If you accidentally touch the skin, wipe it clean and rinse with water. If you accidentally touch your eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and go to the hospital for examination.
Packaging and storage editing
1. Packed in 100ml metal hose or 310ml plastic tube.
2. It should be stored in a dry, cool, ventilated warehouse at a temperature below 25 °C.
3. Under this condition, the original unopened product has an effective storage period of 1 year from the date of manufacture. It can be used after passing the valid storage period.
4. This product is non-toxic, non-combustible, and transported as non-dangerous goods [2].
Application editing
Sealant can replace imported oil-resistant sealant. It is used for all automobile manufacturers, agricultural vehicle factories, forklift factories, diesel engine factories, shipyards and other manufacturers. It can be used for sealing oil, gas and water in electric power, chemical industry, machinery, gearbox, oil tank, oil bottom, cork mat, front and rear axle, front and rear end caps. It is also suitable for detachable seals on engine or motorcycle engines, pumps, valves, gearboxes, gearboxes, etc., or for detachable thread seals.
The adhesive has strong interstitial ability, anti-aging and surface curing of less than 20 minutes. In addition, in the structure of the silicone product, both the "organic group" and the "inorganic structure" are contained. This special composition and molecular structure make it combine the properties of organic matter with the function of inorganic substances, and have high and low temperature resistance. It has many excellent properties such as weathering resistance, electrical insulation, ozone resistance, water repellency, flame retardancy, non-toxicity, non-corrosion and physiological inertness. Some varieties also have oil, solvent and radiation resistance.
Compared with other polymer materials, the most outstanding properties of silicone products are:
1. Excellent temperature resistance, dielectric properties, weather resistance, physiological inertness and low surface tension;
2. Shockproof and moisture-proof bonding of various signs;
3. Sealing of mechanical and chemical equipment flanges;
4, the sealing of threaded pipes and screws [1].
